Avant-garde art is back

Avant-garde art is back

The Museum of Contemporary Art is once again open to the public after refurbishment.

The Museum now has a more aesthetically pleasing appearance and offers a better infrastructure, both of which had deteriorated with the passing of time. The building has four floors on which paintings and sculptures by important artists such as Joan Miró, Chillida or the Grup d’Elx (Sixto Marco, Albert Agulló, Coll and Castejón), among others, are exhibited. Moreover, the museum has maintained a strict programme to assure the conservation of the artwork and to allow the public to use them in an educational manner.

The offices are located in Plaza Mayor in Raval, where the old town hall used to be. Admission is free.
