A new way of enjoying the Palm Grove
On 18 May, the Palm Grove Route was inaugurated in Elx, and will provide the city’s inhabitants and tourists with the opportunity to learn more about the unique culture of palm tree groves.
This new tourist attraction forms part of the extensive Elche Palm Grove, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and has been prepared so that visitors can enjoy it in all its splendour.
The route, to be followed on foot, runs through almost 2 kilometres of the city’s most outstanding palm tree groves and, among the sea of palm trees, several traditional houses may be seen
