From Ilici de to Elx, 2500 years of the city’s history
A great exhibition will be held from the 18th May to the 1st November 2006 on the occasion for the opening of the Elx Archeaological and History Museum (MAHE on the original). It will be presided by the possible home return journey of the “Dama d’Elx, an Iberian masterpiece sculpture, from the 4th C.B.C, found in Elx in 1897 anc currently in the Madrid National Archaeological Museum. This event will be backed up by other cutural and social participation activities, in which both the people of Elx and visitors will be called to the exhibition and the stay of the “Dama d’Elx” in its home town….
